TA Asbestos Project - June 2012

A new issue was brought to my attention that from June 15, 2015 through July an Asbestos Removal project was conducted at Takoma Academy. This project was not disclosed to the parents or students before or after the commencement of the project other than the notice taped near the door.

The school website boasts of transparency and communications however, the reality is there was no disclosure to parents that dangerous asbestos was in the school or that it was being removed.
