Quotations from the writings of Ellen G. White with the phrase . . .

The word Trinity appears twice in the published writings of Ellen G. White, however she did not write either of them.  The two occurances are by comments added by the publishers.

Why didn't Ellen White use this word in any of her writings?

The Trinity is a Roman Catholic doctrine, and Ellen White might have avoided this word to avoid confusion with the Catholic doctrine.
"The mystery of the Trinity is the central doctrine of Catholic faith. Upon it are based all the other teachings of the Church."  Handbook For Today's Catholic, page 11.

"The faith of all Christians rests on the Trinity." Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Christians should be aware that the Catholic “trinity doctrine” teaches that Christ is a created being. This COMPLETELY CONTRADICTS the teaching of many New Testament passages that say that Christ created ALL THINGS. See: John 1:1-3 and Colossians 1:16-17.

The Eternal Dignitaries of the Trinity -- The eternal heavenly dignitaries -- God, and Christ, and the Holy Spirit -- arming them [the disciples] with more than mortal energy, . . . would advance with them to the work and convince the world of sin.-- Manuscript 145, 1901.  {Ev 616.4}

BECAUSE THE WRITINGS OF ELLEN G. WHITE HAVE OFTEN BEEN GARBLED WHEN ALLEGEDLY "QUOTED" BY CRITICS OR DETRACTORS, WE HERE GIVE A COMPREHENSIVE ASSEMBLAGE OF HER TEACHINGS ON THE DEITY AND ETERNAL PRE-EXISTENCE OF CHRIST, AND HIS PLACE IN THE GODHEAD, OR TRINITY; HIS NATURE DURING THE INCARNATION; AND HIS ATONING SACRIFICE AND PRIESTLY MINISTRY.  {7ABC 437.1}

These are the only two places where the word TRINITY appears in the published works of EGW
The book, Evangelism, is a compilation of the writings of EGW put together by LeRoy Froom and first published in 1946 by Review & Herald Publishing Association. A visit to the grave of LeRoy Froom will show his connection to the FreeMasons secret society.  See Viedo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goLppG2_7LM
If we agree that the Godhead is a "union of three co-eternal Persons," which is both the position of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, it would be confusing to others if we use the word Trinity, in any usage other than to describe the Roman Catholic doctrine. Unfortunately this confusion exists today because Fundamental Belief # 2 is now called "The Trinity" - however, in 1988 FB#2 was called 'The Godhead' partly because EGW wrote the word Godhead 230 times; and the word Trinity, zero times.

A third occurance appeared when the GC published additional writings of EGW materials in honor of the 100th anniversary of her death and the 60th GC Session in July 2015. Here is the third place she used the word.
"The old writers called the world's trinity, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life."  Lt43-1898 par. 26

Who is teaching the Catholic Trinity error
Did Ellen White use trinity in song service?  Answer, it was not in the Hymnal.
So she may indeed have sung the Hymn titled Holy, Holy, Holy and loved it, but it had no trinity then
as the words "blessed trinity" have been added since her death.
